On the morning of June 28, the opening ceremony of the 2024 China (Tianmen) Clothing E-commerce Industry Conference was held at the Hubei Tianmen Gymnasium. The report shows that the overall production and operation situation of Tianmen clothing e-commerce in the first half of the year is stable and improving. By integrating more industry resources related to clothing e-commerce and cross-border, This further promoted the development of the brand and the e-commerce alliance came into being. The organizations currently forming the alliance mainly come from clothing e-commerce industry associations across the country, including textile and clothing e-commerce bases such as Dongguan, Humen, and Xiliu, Liaoning. They have achieved good results in cross-border e-commerce and hope to use these bases in the future. The interaction with Tianmen promotes more exchanges and cooperation among all parties in terms of platforms, service models, operating experience, etc., forming a community and promoting the entire garment industry to go overseas..
At the meeting, Ji Daoqing, secretary of the Tianmen Municipal Party Committee and director of the Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Ji Daoqing said that Tianmen currently has more than 6,500 clothing market entities, including more than 2,700 e-commerce entities, 12,000 registered merchants on clothing e-commerce platforms, and more than 600 registered merchants on cross-border e-commerce platforms. Today's Tianmen can go from fabric to ready-made garments in 60 seconds, deliver 500 items of clothing in one minute, live broadcast 24 hours a day, and ship 600,000 pieces of clothing overseas in one day. The volume of express delivery business ranks among the top in the province, and the sales volume of Hanfu ranks first in the province. , this year’s clothing e-commerce transaction volume may exceed 50 billion yuan.
It is worth mentioning that a total of 35 investment projects were signed at this conference, with a total agreed investment of 11.218 billion yuan. The entry of these fresh blood will also further promote the docking, communication and pragmatism of the majority of clothing companies and cross-border e-commerce platforms.
